Junebug Artfest – 4th Night

Nope! The rain didn’t put a stop to the festivities. It might have delayed it a bit but the Arts flowed through Main Street once again. Did you see the 10 short movies at the Old Franklin School, written and directed by students? We did! Were you able to visit The Garden Club’s interactive, educational exhibit? Did you see the highly creative hair and makeup creations in front of Suite Beverly Salon & Boutique? We did! How about some of the performers at the Open Mic in Brewed Awakening, did you watch them? We did! So you probably thought the rain would dampen the art loving people coming down on Main St. huh. Well think again. Linda Vonderschmidt-La Stella, the Artfest Chairperson said it best, “… ‘snarly weather’ does NOT keep the Junebug from soaring…all is a’happpenin’…”. And happen they did!
