On Wednesday, December 28 from 1 PM until 2:30 PM, the Young Adult Department of the Metuchen Public Library will present “An Introduction to Fencing.” The free workshop will include demonstrations, floor exercises and an overview of the equipment, the weapons and the rules of the sport. The hands-on workshop is open to Metuchen residents only, in grades 6-12; participants are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
